This is the 2010 model 6000 unit w/ pneumatic down-pressure. It has been field tested to apply NH3 up to 200 units/acre. The parallel linkage allows for 16" of vertical travel.

The Anhydra Opener has optional, easily removable drop-forged Trashwheels. The acme screw allows you to fine tune your row cleaning. The composite settings of the down-pressure, rowcleaning, blade angle, and closing systems give you the ability to choose the level of soil disturbance from "hardly visible" to "clear and black".

The adjustments for changing blade angle are shown above. Being able to quickly adjust blade angle, is helpful for any real world fertilizer placement program. You can set the blade at 0 degrees to run straight on, or you may run from 4 to 7 degrees.

Walking Tandem Closer system with fluid damping. An easy-to-reach adjustment allows you to fine tune the aggressiveness of the closing wheels. It employs dual Curvetine II Closing Wheels, with Timken tapered roller bearings and regreaseable hubs.
