VariWheel 13/15 inch swept tooth row cleaner. These wheels are
excellent for: narrow rows, cover crops, and achieving effective
row cleaning with minimal soil disturbance.

Useful
Dawn now offers a smaller
forged TrashWheel with a swept tooth profile. It is a very nice
mixture of the best qualities of both the standard DAWN TrashWheel
and the aforementioned VariWheel. It is 13 inches in diameter,
guaranteed for life against bending and breaking, and is less
agressive than the standard wheel. An interesting use would
be to use two of these wheels with a narrow angle stem to make
a coulter combibnation unit for 20 in rows that keeps the coulter
on the centerline of the row.

Equipment
Press Plate for Curvetine I Closing Wheels, Aluminum, easily
mounted and removed from CT-I. Give the CurvTine added floatation
in softer soil conditions. A really good No-Till setup is to
run two Curvtine wheels per row, with one having a press plate
installed. Many people who have a mixture of No-Till and conventional
ground use one curvtine and one rubber press wheel.

Depth Band for all row cleaners. Allows floating units to contour
with ground more effectively. Aids in heavily worked and softer
soils.

Choice of 5: 8-wave, 13-wave, 25-wave, Bubble, Ripple. 8, 13,
and 25 appear as pictured. The ripple blade is an excellent
No-Till blade and has a narrow cross section. In high residue
conditions, this aids in cutting through the residue. Any attachment
with a coulter blade includes this option in its price.

Bottom: Narrow Angle Stem
Narrow angle stems are necessary
when using coulter combination units on some 1770NT and 1790
planters due to interference of the TrashWheels with planter
wheel weldments. They can also be used on coulter combination
units to not move residue so far. There is no price difference,
however they cannot be used in the intersecting or offset positions
like a standard stem.
